The framing connection joins structural steel beams to a wide-flange column using a welded shear tab on the column flange secured with a vertical line of bolts. A second row of bolts is provided where required per non-moment connection notes. Typical edge distance is maintained between one-and-a-half inches minimum and one-and-three-quarters inches maximum, with three-inch typical spacing. Bolt sizes and shear tab dimensions are sized per schedule in accordance with AISC specifications.
