A boxed header track frames into cold-formed steel jamb studs using a cut flange and bent web option with a minimum three-inch extension for connection to the jamb. Screws at the top and bottom secure the bent webs to match the size and number specified for the sill connection. Additional screws fasten the jamb studs according to the structural plans and referenced sheet details.
