A concrete grade beam is reinforced with continuous top and bottom bars, additional reinforcing bars, and stirrups sized per the structural schedule. Two number four dowels spaced at sixteen inches on center embed twelve inches into the grade beam. Number five bars run each face for depths greater than thirty inches. The entire assembly ties into adjacent footings per standard foundation details.
