A five-eighths-inch steel plate is anchored with two half-inch diameter expansion anchors having two-and-a-half-inch nominal embedment at the slab on grade and concrete over metal deck. Metal studs are spaced at sixteen inches typical between hollow structural section columns with a bottom track welded using a quarter-inch fillet weld. The assembly features dimensional clearances ranging from zero to a quarter inch with plate centerlines positioned six and a half inches apart.
