Edge condition for a metal roof deck bearing on a structural steel beam with an overhang of twelve inches or less. A continuous one-quarter-inch bent plate forms the edge curb, measuring five inches vertically. The steel beam is sized per plan and includes a beam web stiffener welded at specific conditions. Fillet welds connect the components according to the structural notes. Architectural coordination is required for the exact overhang dimensions.
