A concrete equipment pad is cast over a structural slab with interior styrofoam fill blocks having a minimum compressive strength of 20 psi. The pad features six-inch typical curbs spaced at eight feet each way, reinforced with number four bars at twelve inches on center each way centered in the slab. Number four dowels spaced at twelve inches on center anchor the curbs to the structural slab below, with pad height varying per mechanical requirements and plans.
