An existing anchor bolt is removed by drilling out the steel and subsequently core drilling a slightly larger hole through the existing concrete slab. Spalled edges are eliminated by sizing the drill bit accordingly and patching with rapid refloor repair to match the surrounding surface finish. The drilled hole extends to a minimum depth of the bolt diameter plus one-sixteenth of an inch. The repair surface is cleaned, cleared of laitance, and dried immediately prior to installing the repair material.
