A quarter-inch bent steel plate runs along the slab edge, secured with two-inch by three-eighth-inch diameter lag bolts at two feet on center through seven-sixteenth-inch predrilled holes in the steel plate. Number four A706 reinforcing bars at two feet zero inches are placed at eighteen inches on center mid-slab with required development lengths. The concrete slab features a quarter-inch notch and an orientation per plan with a variable depth.
