Wide-flange beams frame into a hollow structural section column from opposite sides using a combination of through-plates and offset connection plates. The column web is slotted to receive a continuous connection plate spanning through the column. Double rows of bolts secure the beam webs to the connection plates on both near and far sides. Additional framing conditions accommodate perpendicular beams, skewed beams, and sloped beams as required by the plan layout. A tee plate connection and cap plate are provided at the column top as detailed on referenced sheets.
