An HSS6x6 hollow structural section guide rail support connects to an overhead hoist beam using a 1/4-inch cap plate and an L6x6x5/16 angle, six inches long. The angle features a two-inch long slotted hole centered for a 3/4-inch diameter A307 bolt, with a minimum one-inch threaded extension past the nut and damaged threads upon installation. A 1/4-inch typical fillet weld secures the cap plate and support assembly.
