A one-quarter-inch by twenty-inch by eleven-and-one-half-inch shear plate connects via six one-and-one-quarter-inch diameter by four-and-three-quarter-inch A325N bolts. The shear plate is welded to a one-half-inch by fourteen-inch by ten-inch embed plate with five-eighths-inch welds. The embed plate is anchored into the reinforced concrete element using Grade 60 A706 number eight reinforcing bars welded directly to the embed.
