A concrete spread footing supports a structural column bearing on a base plate with anchor bolts and one inch of non-shrink grout over the footing top. Infill concrete surrounds the column base per typical control joint details, transitioning to a slab on grade with specified reinforcing and vapor barrier where required. A separate slab step condition shows slab reinforcement laps with an eight inch minimum lap length and dowels matching the slab reinforcement or continuous bent reinforcing.
