A buckling-restrained braced frame connection occurs at a beam assembly. The gusset plate size and connection bolts are designed by the buckling-restrained brace manufacturer, along with the brace itself supplied by others. Stiffener plates, including a one-half inch thick intermediate stiffener plate, are spaced across four equal spaces as required by the manufacturer. Doubler plates are added as needed per the manufacturer specifications. Welds are executed in accordance with manufacturer requirements.
