A cold-formed steel stud jamb extends to the top of the opening, framing into a head track fitted with a closure track matching the stud gauge. The jamb connects to adjacent framing using two rows of number ten screws at twelve inches on center staggered. Connection at the head tracks and closure tracks utilizes number ten screws on each side, with intermediate connections spaced at twelve inches on center on each side. A one-inch maximum clearance tolerance is maintained at the head transition.
