A hollow structural section post connects to a horizontal framing member via a vertical bolted flange plate. A one-inch base plate is provided below, with size and bolting coordinated per drawing SCP-1 on sheet A1/S302. High-strength bolts secure the connecting flange plate along the member web. The assembly is detailed for structural lateral and gravity load transfer between the column and intersecting framing.
