An existing three-by-fourteen ledger is attached to a moment frame beam carrying existing concrete solar panels with elevation varying. A five-eighths-inch diameter threaded rod is embedded three and a half inches into epoxy with six inches minimum clearance. Hold-down connectors designated as HDU2 are installed on each side of existing four-by members and staggered. Existing two-by-four framing supports the existing roof plywood with ten-penny nails at two and a half inches on center, verified in field.
