The joist girder bears onto a 1 inch by 5 1/2 inch by 22 inch 50 ksi steel bearing plate, which is centered on the girder and welded to an embedded plate type A66-16 within the tilt-up concrete wall panel. The connection between the girder and the bearing plate is secured with a 1/4 inch fillet weld, four inches in length. The top of the concrete panel and the design bearing elevation are referenced to the panel elevation drawings. Additional information regarding this assembly is provided in detail 6/S301 and 1/S502.
