A light gauge steel header spans between jamb studs, framed with matching stud and track sizes and gauges. The header track connects to the jamb stud assembly via an L2x2 angle clip, secured at both the top and bottom with three number 10 sheet metal screws on each leg. Additional number 10 sheet metal screws fasten the stud and track framing at twelve inches on center typically.
