A structural steel truss girder frames into a column utilizing a seven-eighths-inch by one-foot-nine-inch knife plate welded to the column with five-sixteenths-inch fillet welds. A three-quarter-inch by one-foot-two-inch plate secures the connection with two three-quarter-inch diameter erection bolts on each side. Three three-eighths-inch stiffener plates spaced at four-inch gauge are centered beneath the knife plate and welded to the column web with quarter-inch fillet welds. A three-quarter-inch by six-inch stabilizer plate frames the truss girder to the column, left unwelded to the girder per drawing notes.
