A buckling-restrained brace angle strut connection comprises a gusset plate and Grade 50 plate matching the thickness of the horizontal strut. The connection incorporates 3/4-inch diameter by 5-inch welded headed studs located on each side as specified in elevations, along with complete joint penetration welds and fillet welds sized per the included LL strut weld schedule for double angle sizes 2L6x6 and 2L8x8.
