A cold-formed steel track is fastened perpendicularly to a roof deck sized per structural drawings. The track features a size and thickness to match the studs, secured with one number 10 fastener on each leg. Two number 10 fasteners spaced at sixteen inches on center maximum anchor the track through the bottom flange to the deck below. Cold-formed steel studs are installed per section within the track.
