Cold-formed steel stud framing utilizes 400S162-43 studs spaced at forty-eight inches on center vertically, secured with three number ten screws to each stud. The tracks are connected using number ten and number twelve sheet metal screws at each stud, with screws passing through both tracks in the flush condition. Additional number ten sheet metal screws secure the sides of each stud at a maximum twelve-inch spacing.
