Confinement reinforcement for anchor rods embedded in a concrete foundation consists of four number seven reinforcing ties positioned to wrap around the anchor rod group, providing lateral restraint within the concrete footing. Foundation reinforcement is sized per the structural plan. The assembly supports a steel base plate connection with a diagonal brace and vertical column member.
