Concrete wall corners and intersections are detailed for both single and double reinforcing mats. Vertical reinforcing bars are specified as four number five bars typically unless noted otherwise at intersections for double mats, and two number five bars typically unless noted otherwise for single mats. Horizontal lap splices are required at wall intersections and corners with alternate bends typically. A corner bar may be used in lieu of a ninety degree hook at corners.
