A single concrete pile supports a thickened grade beam with a designated depth and reinforcement layout. The grade beam incorporates four number seven reinforcing bars bent around the pile connection. The grade beam is thickened locally at the pile location with specified dimensions for the drop and side clearances. Reinforcement continues through the top of the grade beam according to structural requirements.
