A W200x22 wide-flange beam frames into an HSS 102x102x8.0 column with its flanges coped as required. The connection uses a cap plate and a gusset plate designed by the connection engineer to accommodate the design forces. Two L76x76x6.4 angle braces tie into the gusset plates above and below the beam. A bolted connection secures the assembly, sized per the connection forces shown on the detail and in the general notes.
