Metal roof or floor deck bears across the top flange of a structural steel wide-flange beam with specified welding per sheet details. A ten gauge continuous plate is provided beneath the deck lap joint, requiring a two-inch minimum lap. Deck welding is detailed per reference sheet 10/SF6.11 with a minimum two-inch dimension constraint.
