Four number eight vertical reinforcing bars are placed within the last two cells of the masonry wall. Horizontal reinforcing bars terminate with standard ninety-degree hooks at the double layer of vertical reinforcing and extend beyond the vertical reinforcing lap length. Masonry wall ties are provided as sized per the masonry column schedule.
