A structural steel beam frames into a concrete tilt-up panel joint utilizing an embedded plate connection on each panel side. The connection features two-inch slotted holes with threaded studs matching the size, spacing, and quantity of the beam connection bolts. The threaded studs weld to the embed plate, left unwelded to the angle on the specified side. Angles and bolt quantities follow the web plate connection schedule. Fillet welds of five-sixteenth-inch size connect the assembly on three sides. Alternate plate configurations apply for W12 and W14 conditions versus W16 and W18 conditions.
