A stair stringer connects to a concrete slab on metal deck supported by a steel beam. Four number five reinforcing bars run through the slab as specified per plan. A three-eighths-inch bent plate welded with three-sixteenths-inch fillet welds at two inches on center with twelve-inch spacing finishes the edge. The connection at the stair is detailed per the stair designer and architectural drawings. The beam and bottom of deck elevation are sized per plan.
