A beam per plan connects to a column per plan using a 1-inch thick A572 Grade 50 steel plate welded to the assembly with a five-sixteenth-inch three-sided weld and a three-eighths-inch typical weld. The erector has the option to provide a maximum of three three-quarter-inch diameter A325 bolts with a minimum eight-inch spacing. Clearances include a one-half-inch offset and two-and-one-half-inch maximum edge distances, with a minimum plate dimension of one foot eight inches.
