A wide-flange beam connects to a wide-flange column using a tee-stub web connection welded to the column flange. The connection is detailed with three bolts securing the tee stem to the beam web. The tee flange is welded to the column flange with a complete or partial joint penetration weld as indicated. The configuration transfers moment or shear loads from the framing beam into the primary column element.
