A wide-flange bracing beam connects to a wide-flange girder using a full-depth shear plate on each side of the web, sized per schedule based on the depth of the wide-flange girder and secured with seven-eighths inch diameter high-strength bolts with standard structural hardware. A diagonal L4x4x1/4 angle brace intersects the assembly with a six-inch maximum offset, welded with a three-sixteenths inch fillet weld on three sides per schedule. A continuous wide-flange beam occurs on the opposite side of the girder as detailed on plan.
