Reinforcement for a pipe bollard embedded in a concrete slab consists of two number four reinforcing bars, each three feet long, positioned two inches below the top of the slab. A one-half inch thick expansion joint material surrounds the pipe bollard to isolate it from the surrounding concrete. Refer to architectural drawings for pipe bollard installation requirements.
