A cast-in-place concrete pier foundation supports a structural pole and base plate provided by the supplier. Eight vertical 20M reinforcing bars and 10M ties spaced at 300 millimeters on center reinforce the concrete base. Eight 25 millimeter diameter by 1200 millimeter long anchor bolts with bottom hooks are cast into the pier and located to suit the base plate. A 50 millimeter layer of non-shrink grout sits beneath the steel base plate resting on top of the concrete pier.
