An eight-inch concrete slab on grade forms the ramp surface, spanning between vertical concrete walls supported by concrete spread footings. Twenty-four inch dowels tie the slab reinforcing into the concrete wall. A guardrail is mounted to the edge of the ramp slab per architectural drawings.
