Cold-formed steel backing member consisting of a 600S200-54 section spans horizontally between vertical studs sized per section. A 600T150-54 cap track is attached to each vertical stud with three number ten screws on each leg. A 600T150-54 by zero foot six inch horizontal track piece is fastened with six number ten screws to the stud or cap track in a four inch by four inch pattern. All connections are made with self-drilling screws as specified for typical cold-formed framing attachment.
