Concrete curb intersections are reinforced with standard hooks on horizontal and vertical bars conforming to general structural notes for clearance. Single-curtain reinforcement utilizes number three hairpins spaced at twelve inches on center. Two-curtain reinforcement incorporates four extra typical vertical bars placed for anchorage on the inside of the horizontal bars.
