This shotcrete wall joint assembly incorporates vertical and horizontal wall reinforcement within the concrete mass. A water stop seal is embedded across the joint on one face, while joint sealant is applied to a recessed groove on the opposite face. Every other horizontal bar on the front face is cut or butt-joined at the joint location. Joint treatments are specified to be applied at twenty-five foot intervals and no more than ten feet from corners.
