The assembly features a W36 structural steel beam supported by a W24 beam, connected via four three-quarter-inch diameter ASTM A325 bolts and a three-eighths-inch shim plate. A full-height stiffener plate per detail 4/S5.02 is welded behind the W36 member. An additional section detail incorporates an L3x3x3/8 angle, three-sixteenths fillet welds, and five-eighths-inch diameter by thirty-six-inch deformed bar anchors at staggered spacings.
