A concrete tilt-up wall panel bears on a continuous concrete footing with a one-and-a-half-inch non-shrink grout bed. A concrete slab-on-grade abuts the wall panel with a slope away from the building, tied with number four by eighteen-inch by thirty-inch long-leg horizontal dowels spaced at eighteen inches on center, which may be drilled and epoxied at the contractor's option. Foundation insulation is installed where indicated per architectural drawings. A number four horizontal reinforcing bar spans the panel opening width. An inset detail highlights the threshold slope of up to one-half inch maximum at the panel opening.
