An interior stair landing features a channel stringer supporting a ten-gauge metal pan filled with concrete. The landing framing connects to a hollow structural section member using four seven-eighth-inch high-strength bolts and a three-eighth-inch stiffener plate. A guardrail is mounted adjacent to the landing assembly, maintaining standard clearances and edge returns.
