A concrete wall transitions to an adjacent concrete wall built by others with reinforcing dowels extending across the joint. The main concrete wall contains number 4 reinforcing bars spaced at twelve inches on center. Dowel bars project two feet into the concrete wall by others and extend two feet into the concrete wall.
