A continuous L8x6x5/8 or L8x8x5/8 steel angle anchors to the tilt-up panel via two 3/4-inch diameter by 7-inch long headed studs spaced at 12 inches on center, integrated into embed plate A-1 or A-2. A continuous 6x timber member fastens to the top of this angle using Simpson SDS25500 screws at 4 inches on center, which also secure the roof sheathing. The steel beam connects to the tilt-up panel via a shear tab with A325 through-bolts, as specified in detail 04S4.1. A continuous 3x wood nailer sits at the top of the assembly, and the angle welds to the embed plate with a 5/16-inch fillet weld on three sides.
