Structural framing and anchorage required to support a safe coordinated with architectural layouts above a profiled metal deck. The safe is secured using half-inch diameter Hilti Hit Hy-150 adhesive anchor bolts at each corner equipped with plate washers and embedded two and one-eighth inches into the substrate. Beneath the top flutes, an L6x4x1/2 angle with long legs vertical is paired with an HSS3x3x1/4 hollow structural section, while an L6x4x1/2 angle is positioned at the bottom flute. An existing structural beam provides primary support below, supplemented by additional L6x4x1/2 angle supports requiring coping and field installation as needed where typical framing is unavailable. Fillet welds of three-sixteenths and one-quarter inch sizes secure the angle and hollow structural section assembly.
