An incoming structural brace connects directly to a column web utilizing a base plate assembly with a nine-anchor rod configuration. Washer plates per AISC Table 14-2 are positioned at three-quarter-inch anchor rods, with equal spacing across the base plate dimensions. Stiffener plates sized per schedule match the non-gusset side and feature complete joint penetration welds typically. A one-inch diameter grout hole is provided at the contractor option near the center. Additional anchor rods include washer plate A designations for alignment.
