A steel angle brace connects to a structural steel beam supporting a concrete over steel deck assembly. A weld plate is located at each end of the brace, secured with a one-quarter-inch fillet weld on three sides. The angle brace spans diagonally to a vertical steel beam adjacent to a steel stud wall, utilizing similar welded connections.
