A metal deck or twenty-gauge plate filler is tack welded to the column, beam, and angle to close gaps. An angle measuring 2x2x3/16 is added to support the decking where flutes are cut by the column and at bolted moment frame connections. Additional 2x2x3/16 angles are provided as required to support the decking low flute. Welds include three-sixteenth-inch typical fillet welds and three-sixteenth-inch partial penetration welds with field-weld indicators.
