This structural plan detail shows the slab reinforcement layout at a corner column supporting a composite slab and deck. A number 4 corner bar spans across the inner corner of the column with legs extending 1 foot 8 inches. Additional number 4 corner bars measuring 2 feet 6 inches by 2 feet 6 inches are provided at the edge of the slab where the slab edge extends beyond the column faces more than 12 inches. Perimeter slab reinforcing bars follow typical edge details with a 2 inch clearance and a 3 inch minimum spacing. The column is specified per schedule or plan, and the composite slab and deck are installed per plan notes in either direction.
