An L2x2x3/16 angle is attached to each flange at the slab edge, with edge forms sized per Table K.1 maintaining a three-sixteenths inch minimum clearance. Closure plates are held back up to a half-inch to accommodate welds at the column web and flanges. Configurations are provided for columns with webs parallel and perpendicular to the slab edge.
